Chagford Galleries

Chagford Galleries is a beautiful and spacious gallery right in the centre of the picturesque Stannary town of Chagford on Dartmoor. 

It is the home to "Devon's Nature in Art" which is a unique collection of artwork by the well known artist Eleanor Ludgate.  It portrays the wildlife, flowers, birds, insects, views and nature of Devon.  Eleanor has a studio at the back of the gallery and can often be seen at work there.  There are many original works of art in the gallery and something, we hope, to suit everyone.  There is also a small gallery room with Paintings of Provence.

We have some striking and unusual hand crafted jewellery, pottery, bronzes, etc, all made in Devon.  Local views and prints, a wide range of greeting cards plus plenty of smaller gift items.  The gallery will be hosting regular exhibitions of work by well known local artists.

We also offer a comprehensive PICTURE FRAMING SERVICE.

The gallery is open all year round including most Sundays during the summer months (10am to 5pm in the winter and 10am to 5:30pm in the summer).
